MetaTrader 4
Long-standing forex trading terminal with expert advisors, via your broker
About MetaTrader 4
MetaTrader 4 is the retail forex terminal released in 2005, known for its charting, one-click trading and thousands of custom indicators and expert advisors written in MQL4. Like MT5, it is offered through brokers rather than sold directly, and many brokers have stopped issuing new MT4 licenses in favour of MT5. It remains popular for its huge ecosystem of third-party tools.

- Light, stable and widely supported by brokers
- Free through brokers
Cons
